Hotel Spree-Idyll Berlin, Berlin

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The room had a terrific view of the lake and looked clean, offering a comfortable experience. Although the soundproofing could be better, it was still alright. The service was friendly, including a welcome drink and assistance with tours and tickets. The location was perfect for a quiet evening walk, near the Spree river in Berlin's Köpenick district but a bit far from the city center. Dining was excellent with a room overlooking the river at great value. The facilities were opulent, enhancing my overall experience.

However, the room in the annex, while offering a terrific view of the lake, was a bit of a letdown being situated near the car park. The dining experience was excellent with great value for money, but I wished for more diversity in breakfast options.

The rooms were spotlessly clean and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, although being in the annex with a view of the car park/utility area for the Wassersportzentrum was not ideal. The separate building about 200 meters from the reception and restaurant meant a bit of a walk, and I could hear noises from the next-door room, which was slightly bothersome.
